American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position at a short-term acute care hospital in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of PACU experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in the PACU of a 72-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Performs post-anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical cases including general, urology, gynecological, endoscopy, ENT, orthopedic, vascular, podiatry, and oral procedures
• Documents in Cerner EMR
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required 1–2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
• No floating outside of scope required
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care across a broad range of surgical specialties

• Parking is provided at no cost
• No RTO is built into the contract — all time-off requests must be coordinated directly with the manager upon arrival
