Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IR PACU position requiring a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience and prior IR PACU experience with Phase 1 recovery.

Details

• Interventional Radiology (IR) PACU setting within a hospital environment
• Phase 1 recovery patient population, including pediatric patients
• Rotating start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 9:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with variable start times
• 3–4 late stays required per 6-week period

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• PALS required prior to start date (not required at time of consideration)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Prior IR PACU experience with Phase 1 recovery required
• Experience caring for pediatric patients required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
