American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel position in Albany, NY, requiring 2 years of PICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

• Located in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of an academic medical center in Albany, NY
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• All certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) must be issued by AHA or RQI
• Active US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations are not permitted

Additional Information

• Must reside outside the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington (50-mile radius rule applies)
• ICU applicants must complete and pass a competency test — two attempts are allowed
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Any time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
