American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department inpatient hold position requiring PALS (or ENPC) and ACLS certifications, with a preference for candidates able to also manage ED patients.

Details

• Position is located within a hospital Emergency Department, focusing on inpatient hold patients
• Preferred ability to also care for general ED patients in addition to inpatient hold assignment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend (EOW) rotation
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Connecticut or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current PALS certification required; Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certificate is also acceptable
• TNCC certification required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to inpatient hold patients within the Emergency Department setting
• Scanned copies of all certifications (front and back) with expiration dates must be provided
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred where available
• Local candidates are accepted for this position; local pay rates apply for candidates residing in CT
