Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital OR setting, requiring at least one year of CVOR experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting, specializing in cardiovascular surgery (CVOR)
• Must be willing and able to flex to General OR as needed
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required — must not expire prior to start date
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification required — must not expire prior to start date
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for cardiovascular OR patients
• Performs delegated medical functions, patient referrals, health teaching, and documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
