Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring at least 2 years of inpatient acute PACU experience and active CA RN and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (9:00–21:00)
• PACU unit with 8 rooms and an average daily census of 25–30 patients
• Floating to ASC, HH, and PVH facilities is required
• No weekend requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute PACU experience (hard stop requirement)
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• SSN, DOB, and a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
