American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Outpatient Surgery/Procedure Center position in California, requiring general surgery experience, pediatric patient care expertise, and on-call availability.

• Outpatient surgery/procedure center setting at a children's hospital
• Primarily pediatric patient population; adults seen on rare occasions
• Specialties include ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology, GI, and Pulmonary procedures
• Candidates should have experience in the majority of the listed surgical specialties
• Schedule options: 4x10-hour shifts (6:00–16:30) or 5x8-hour shifts with variable start times between 6:00 and 16:30
• Day shift position
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call required: 5 weekday and 2 weekend on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
• No floating required
• EMR: SurgiNet (Cerner); EMR experience must be verified
• 13-week contract with opportunity to extend beyond 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute or outpatient surgery settings
• General surgery experience required
• Experience across the majority of listed surgical specialties required (ENT, Plastics, Gen Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology)
• Verified EMR experience required
• Strong skills working in a fast-paced environment
