American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical Oncology unit, requiring at least one year of RN experience, ONS/ONCC certification, and an active OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is located in a hospital Surgical Oncology unit (stepdown and med/surg)
• Night shift, 12-hour days, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• ONS or ONCC certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Proficiency in IV initiation, regulation, and monitoring, including blood product administration
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Responsibilities include managing assigned patient groups, documenting nursing interventions, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and educating patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for a new contract (prior contracts are limited to one extension, for a total of 26 weeks)
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — onboarding (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance
