Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Otolaryngology (OHNS) Outpatient Clinic position requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a large academic medical center's Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department
• Clinic specializes in comprehensive care for ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions, including audiology, hearing aids, and surgical services (tumor, facial plastic, adult and pediatric)
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No call, no holidays, and no weekend requirements
• Epic EMR used; prior experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, strong Med/Surg experience required
• Experience at a large facility (500+ beds) required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include medication review, patient education, reviewing after-visit summaries, and managing Epic In Basket
• Coordinates and clinically manages patients and caregivers, including prescription refills, triage calls, medication reconciliation, chart reviews, and collaboration with pharmacy, social work, and nutrition
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration
