American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry position at a hospital in Jacksonville, FL, requiring telemetry experience and every-other-weekend availability.

Details

• 24-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Acutely ill patient population with admissions from the ED, PCU, and ICU
• Specializes in caring for patients with sepsis, pneumonia, complex wounds, COPD, and ESRD
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill med-surg/telemetry patients across a range of complex conditions
• 36- or 48-hour weekly contracts are both acceptable
