American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Oncology Telemetry position at a high-acuity oncology unit requiring telemetry experience and every-other-weekend availability.

• High-acuity 30-bed Surgical Oncology unit serving oncology patients
• Patient care involves chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and post-surgical care
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to a vulnerable oncology population including pre- and post-surgical patients
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
