American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Charge Nurse - Nights position at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Bangor, ME, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Charge Nurse role responsible for coordinating and directing total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients
• Night shift schedule: 7a–7p
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Maine or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as a resource for the unit and provides quality management coordination
• Provides administrative backup support in the absence of the Director of Nursing
• Participates in patient/resident and family teaching
• Works collaboratively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary care team members
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a lower hourly rate than travel candidates
