American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / OB ED position in Austin, TX, working night shifts with a minimum of one year of L&D experience required.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery / OB Emergency Department (OB ED) setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Current NRP certification required — must be NRP Advanced 9th Edition from the American Academy of Pediatrics
• Current intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN intermediate or advanced, or NCCEFM)
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required (quantity may vary by state)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
