American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Float Pool position requiring PICU and NICU experience, with floating across multiple pediatric units on nights.

Details

• Pediatric float pool (SRO) position floating across multiple units including PICU, NICU, Peds Med/Surg, Peds PACU, Peds ED Boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; VA license pending will be accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending; certification has an associated cost of $185)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• NICU experience required
• Comfort with general pediatric patient populations required
• Previous NICU/PICU float pool experience is a plus
• Peds PACU experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Float assignments are made in accordance with each candidate's clinical experience across pediatric service lines
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
