American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes obstetric patients undergoing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides clinical support to obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, RNs, and charge nurses in the LDRP setting
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety
• May be responsible for mentoring and training students
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a different rate
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
