Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring Phase 1, pre-op, and Phase 2 experience, with on-call rotation coverage including weekends and holidays.

Details

• Hospital PACU setting covering Phase 1, pre-op, and Phase 2 post-operative care
• 4x10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating shift windows (0800–1830, 0900–1930, 1000–2030, or 1030–2100)
• On-call rotation required for Friday nights (2100–0700), Saturday through Sunday (0700–2300), and Sunday nights (2300–0700)
• Potential call coverage from 2030–0700 on Monday through Thursday in the event of night shift call-outs
• Holiday on-call coverage required on a rotating basis
• No routine on-call responsibilities outside of the defined rotation schedule

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Phase 1 PACU experience required
• Pre-op and Phase 2 PACU experience required
• Certifications must be submitted for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide post-operative nursing care across all phases of the PACU continuum, from pre-op through Phase 2 recovery
• 13-week contract
