American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a circulating and scrubbing position at a Level III trauma center in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and rotating call shifts.

Details

• Main OR setting within a Level III trauma center featuring 4 state-of-the-art surgical suites with a 5th suite under construction
• Wide range of surgical specialties including General, Ortho/Spine Trauma, Brain/Spine, Neuro, OB-GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Peds, Eyes, and Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci)
• Intraoperative circulating and scrubbing responsibilities during the perioperative process
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating evening, night, and weekend call
• Per 8-week scheduling period, each traveler is generally assigned one call weekend (Friday 1900–Monday 0700) and 4–5 weeknight call shifts (1900–0700)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• DOB or SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process in both circulating and scrubbing roles
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
