American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown/CSU float position at an acute care hospital in North Carolina, requiring cardiac stepdown or intermediate care experience on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work setting is a 402-bed acute care hospital
• Assignment to the Cardiac Stepdown Unit (CSU) with a float requirement between two stepdown units, as well as similar or lesser acuity units as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Cardiac and intermediate-level patient population
• Charting is done in Epic
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Free parking available in designated staff parking areas

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum experience in cardiac stepdown or intermediate care nursing required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Float assignment primarily between two stepdown units, with additional floating to similar or lesser acuity units as needed
• Scrub color: any solid color (facility-provided scrubs in OR/L&D)
• No RTO can be accommodated during major holiday weeks
• Candidates must not reside in Moore County, NC to be eligible for this position
