American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position on an adolescent female unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and offering night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Work in a 337-bed psychiatric hospital on a dedicated adolescent female behavioral health unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other age populations is required when scheduling needs arise
• No on-call requirements
• Charting is done in Sunrise EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• May be required to serve as charge RN during a shift
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start
• Navy blue scrubs required
