American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position at a Level II trauma hospital, requiring at least 1 year of dialysis experience and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Acute dialysis unit within a 200-bed Level II trauma hospital with Comprehensive Stroke and Chest Pain accreditation
• Provides hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis (PD) to inpatients, both in the dialysis department and at the bedside in other units
• Dialysis RNs support and troubleshoot SLEDD machines in collaboration with ICU nurses
• Utilizes Tablo dialysis machines for hemodialysis and SLEDD, and the Baxter Claria Homechoice system for PD
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 20:00–08:30

Requirements

• Active Idaho (ID) or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of dialysis RN experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and is not permitted during the first week of orientation
