Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring open heart experience, EPIC proficiency, and on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with alternating days off
• On-call required 1–2 days per week with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend call coverage required every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend spans Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM
• Holiday coverage required as needed, with an expectation to work at least one major holiday
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license — Pennsylvania state license or compact license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgical experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call

• Candidates undergo a clinical screening process to assess fit prior to manager review; manager interview required
• May care for COVID-positive patients

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the contract
