Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Infusion Unit position requiring chemotherapy certification and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in the Infusion Unit of a hospital setting with 13 rooms, 2 beds, and approximately 30 patient visits per day
• Patient population includes Hematology/Oncology and non-oncology diagnoses such as Ulcerative Colitis
• Patient ratio of 1:8
• Specialized procedures include chemotherapy, iron infusions, injections, blood transfusions, non-oncology infusions, hydration, and pain management
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Flexible scheduling: 4 days per week (8:00am–6:30pm) or 5 days per week (8:30am–5:00pm)
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and Chemotherapy (CHEMO)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant infusion nursing experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration
