American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Resource Pool Med/Surg Tele position in Des Moines, IA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a willingness to float across multiple med/surg units.

Details

• Resource Pool position within a hospital setting, floating across multiple med/surg floors
• Float units include Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele
• May be required to float to a secondary campus approximately 9.5 miles from the primary location
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license valid in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must be willing and able to float to all assigned med/surg floors as needed
• Local candidates are eligible to apply; local pay rates are available for this Iowa position
