American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position in Des Moines, IA, requiring flexibility to float across multiple med/surg units including telemetry and step-down floors.

Details

• Hospital-based position within a Resource Pool unit, requiring willingness to float to all med/surg floors
• Float assignments may include Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele units
• Floating to a satellite campus approximately 9.5 miles from the main downtown location is required
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration

• Candidate must be comfortable working across a wide range of med/surg specialties in a resource pool float role
