American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Intermediate Care position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Step Down / Intermediate Care unit within an acute care hospital setting
• PCU and Med-Surg Telemetry patient population; placement on specific unit determined by greatest need at time of assignment
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set, both on-site and to facilities within a 40-mile radius

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (renewed yearly for Group A, every 2 years for Groups B–F)
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care Step Down experience required
• Candidates with either Med-Surg or Step Down RN background are eligible to apply
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Traveler will be assigned to the unit with the greatest need, which may be a PCU or a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, based on individual skill set
• Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
