American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week EP Lab (Electrophysiology) travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting, requiring a CA RN license and Cerner EMR experience.

Details

• EP Lab (Electrophysiology Lab) in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Cerner EMR is used in this position

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (Standard or Compact); pending licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• Orientation consists of 12 hours, including a pass/fail competency assessment on sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes on the first day
• RNs at CommonSpirit facilities in the Sacramento, CA region must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam (basic or advanced) prior to an offer being confirmed
• A two-step interview process is used: an initial clinical screening followed by a unit manager interview
