American Traveler is hiring an interim Director of Nursing (DON) for a 12-week travel assignment in a post-acute/LTC management setting, requiring a valid IA or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Post-acute/long-term care (LTC) management setting
• Interim Director of Nursing role within a skilled nursing/rehab environment
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• PointClickCare (PCC) EMR used in this position
• May be required to work the floor as needed to cover shifts

Requirements

• Active Iowa (IA) or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior LTC or post-acute management experience strongly applicable to this role
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred given its use in this setting

Additional Information

• Serving in an interim leadership capacity, overseeing nursing operations for the duration of the assignment
• Must be flexible to work the floor and cover clinical shifts as needed
• No formal orientation hours are associated with this assignment
• BSN is not required for this position
• 12-week contract assignment
