Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring an active MA RN license, a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, and the ability to pass pre-acceptance skills testing.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Critical Care Center within a hospital setting
• Serves adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical conditions
• 24-hour intensivist coverage is available on the unit
• No monitor techs are available on the unit
• 12-hour night shifts
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• CCRN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Demonstrated competency in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
• Evidence of relevant continuing education required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• COVID vaccine (with booster) and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season

Additional Information

• A pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication Test is administered prior to acceptance
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility must have a minimum 6-month break and be in good standing before being considered
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Interview availability must be provided at the time of consideration
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
