Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a hybrid MS/Tele (PCU) night shift position requiring prior PCU experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Hybrid Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit with PCU-level care responsibilities
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Floating to other units is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 24/7 phlebotomy, Rapid Response Team (RRT), and supervisor support available on all units

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior PCU experience is required for this hybrid unit role
• First-time travelers with Level 1 trauma experience will be considered
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
• 13-week contract
