American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position in New Orleans, LA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a valid LA or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Patient-to-nurse staffing ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• Float pool assignment covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
