Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health RN for a 13-week travel contract in Montana, covering both in-home and in-patient hospice settings with a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience required.

Details

• Home health and in-patient hospice setting
• Serves patients in residential settings as well as an in-patient Hospice Center
• Clinical skills utilized include venipuncture, catheterization, wound care, and parenteral therapy
• Typical in-home schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; typical in-patient schedule consists of 3 rotating 12-hour shifts
• On-call rotation participation required to meet patient care needs

Requirements

• Active MT RN license (or compact RN license) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care, home care, or hospice nursing experience
• BSN preferred
• Valid driver's license, appropriate auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Clinical proficiency in venipuncture, catheterization, wound care, and/or parenteral therapy preferred
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing, case management, and care coordination for patients and families through an interdisciplinary team approach
• Oversee care delivered by Home Health/Hospice Aides and CNAs, ensuring compliance with the plan of care
• Responsible for maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with agency standards and OASIS requirements
• Participates in quality improvement activities and in-service training as assigned
