Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery LDRP position in Oregon, requiring at least 1 year of experience with a comprehensive skill set including triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care.

Details

• LDRP unit providing labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered environment
• All sites are also trained in GYN surgical care
• Patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum patients, newborns, and high-risk neonates
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Occasional weekend shifts required
• 1 12-hour call shift required per pay period
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required and must be active
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS (Healthcare Provider level), ACLS (AHA), and NRP
• Basic fetal monitoring skills required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery required

Additional Information

• STABLE certification is preferred
• Previous experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates is preferred
