Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of MS/Tele experience, a KY or compact RN license, and availability for night shifts with every other weekend coverage.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, subject to fluctuation based on census and staffing
• Charting performed in Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• 13-week travel contract
