American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active NJ license, L&D experience, and the ability to circulate and scrub for C-sections.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Patient ratio of 1:6; may be pulled to facilities with higher volumes
• Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-sections required
• Epic EMR used
• Travelers may be required to float within a system of up to 5 hospital locations based on need
• Block scheduling is not allowed

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Ability to circulate and scrub for C-sections
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required, no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required, no exemptions

Additional Information

• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing; only 2 attempts are allowed and the test must be taken on a PC (not an iOS device) — failure to complete or two failed attempts will result in contract cancellation
• Coverage required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted afterward will not be accepted
• Two current professional references required for consideration
