Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ED position requiring at least 1.5 years of PEDS ED experience, including triage and trauma, with a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Pediatric Emergency Department setting with 35 beds (21 ER beds plus 3rd floor for fast tracks and surgical suite)
• Patient population includes pediatric patients ranging from standard to lower acuity, including mental health and trauma cases
• Standard acuity nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3; lower acuity ratio of 1:6
• Tech-to-patient ratio of 1:8 with 24/7 support staff
• EMR: Epic
• 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI or MOAB
• Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric ED experience required
• At least 6 months of triage and trauma experience required
• General pediatric ED care skills required, including mental health and trauma
