American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring multi-specialty surgical experience including Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology, with on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Specialties include Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology surgeries
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• On-call responsibilities required
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• Da Vinci Robotic surgery, endovascular, and ophthalmology experience are a plus

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license valid in Texas, required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
