Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma facility, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with Epic charting experience preferred.

Details

• 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit
• Comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility
• Patient population includes complex care for PCI and open-heart surgery patients
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active Idaho (ID) or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
