American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring advanced procedure experience and the ability to assist or circulate during complex GI and pulmonary procedures.

Details

• Hospital endoscopy unit setting
• Day shift schedule working 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required in addition to regular shifts
• Advanced GI procedures performed include ERCP, PEG placement, EUS, Spyglass, FNA/FNB, and capsule endoscopy
• Pulmonary procedures performed include bronchoscopy and EBUS

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Advanced GI/endoscopy procedure experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with moderate sedation and pain management preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

• Candidate must be able to assist and circulate during advanced GI and pulmonary procedures
• Candidates residing within 150 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to local pay rates
• The facility conducts an on-site drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — this includes CBD products
• 13-week contract
