American Traveler is seeking an experienced high-risk Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring a CA RN license, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of OB experience.

• Labor & Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• High-risk OB patient population including complex maternal and fetal cases
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (OB) experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass an on-site EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for high-risk L&D patients
• Develops and implements individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Facilitates collaborative communication among patients, families, physicians, and the broader care team
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
