American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Massachusetts, requiring telemetry experience, float readiness, and an active MA RN license in hand.

Details

• Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit setting
• Medical-surgical patient population with telemetry monitoring needs
• Floating required to any Med/Surg unit, up to every 4 hours
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• 16-week contract

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license, must be in hand prior to consideration
• Current certifications required and must be in hand: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Willingness and ability to float to any Med/Surg unit is a firm requirement
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended, and late requests may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
