American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medicine Specialty (Med/Surg) position in Oklahoma, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based med/surg unit caring for patients with a variety of health conditions ranging from simple to complex
• 36 hours per week, scheduled as 12-hour shifts
• Schedule requires morning/day (MS) and self-scheduling (SD)

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• Responsibilities include administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, documenting patient responses, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may reapply after a 6-month separation period following the completion of a 26-week total engagement
• Compliance requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance
