American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring broad cardiovascular surgical competency, Epic proficiency, and availability for call shifts.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases such as CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella insertion/removal, and thoracic/lung procedures
• Primary schedule is day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
• On-call requirement of one night per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 14 hours)
• On-call requirement every 4th–5th weekend, Saturday and Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, 48 hours)
• Epic EMR used; recent experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Tennessee (TN) or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience required
• Broad competency across all surgical cases and cardiovascular/thoracic procedures
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
