Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring Level I Trauma experience, the ability to scrub and circulate for all CVOR case types, and on-call availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Candidate must be able to scrub and circulate for all types of CVOR cases
• Potential to float to the general OR and a satellite campus for cardiac cases
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Holiday on-call required when applicable
• Charting system: Cerner (Surginet)

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2–3 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Ability to both scrub and circulate for all CVOR case types
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a different pay rate
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required
