Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska, with on-call requirements and Epic experience required.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab of a 407-bed acute care hospital that is a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 18:00 through Monday at 07:30)
• Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule
• May float to EP or IR within scope to meet facility needs
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Free on-site parking available

Requirements

• Active Alaska (AK) RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Only 1 RTO request is permitted per 13-week assignment; all RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
• Holiday coverage expectations are in line with the facility's standard scheduling practices
