American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license and on-call availability.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Cath Lab unit
• 407-bed Magnet-designated facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-call required: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM)
• Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule
• Floating may be required to EP or IR within scope
• Epic EMR; experience required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Active Alaska (AK) RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Alaska; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Only 1 RTO request will be considered per 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of offer
• Scrub color is provided by the facility
