American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a 137-bed acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring Women's Services experience and multiple OB-specific certifications.

• Labor & Delivery unit within a combined OB/GYN department at a 137-bed acute care hospital
• Unit consists of 17 L&D rooms and 5 OB rooms, all within one combined unit
• Patient population is Labor & Delivery (Women's Services)
• Night shift position (7P-7A)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed/on request
• Floating required as needed
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in NC or a compact state license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN, and CPI/HWC/MAB — all must be AHA-issued and in hand prior to start
• Minimum 1-2 years of Women's Services (L&D) experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
• Every other weekend hours are required
