Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Kentucky, requiring at least 1-2 years of acute MS/rehab experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a regional medical center
• Patient ratio of 1:6 (subject to fluctuation based on census and call-ins)
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a on a 36/48-hour bi-weekly rotation (3x12 or 4x12 alternating weeks)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope of practice is required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Meditech EMR in use

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of current acute med/surg or inpatient rehab nursing experience
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly basis
• 13-week contract assignment
