Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of experience with Meditech EMR and WV or compact licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, subject to fluctuation based on census
• Meditech EMR is used in this unit
• Night shift schedule, 7p–7:30a, working 3x12 or 4x12 hours per shift
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is an expanding unit
• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• 13-week contract assignment
