American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience, a WV or compact license, and night shift availability.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Telemetry/stepdown patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 (subject to fluctuation with census and call-ins)
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift: 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry, PCU, or stepdown experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on a bi-weekly schedule
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
