Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and active KY or compact licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting, caring for MS/Tele and observation patients
• Patient population includes short-stay MS/Tele and observation patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7 (may fluctuate with census)
• Night shift schedule, 7p–7:30a, available as 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele or Telemetry nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• 13-week contract
